That’s how I feel about portraits. The time we spend together making portraits is joyful and priceless. It’s about feeling incredible and cherished… and having amazing images to show for it. Dog’s end up in my lap, kids play photographer for days after the session, dads say how painless it was to have photos made, and women… say how beautiful they feel… There has even been one precious baby girl who came into the world nine months after an engagement session.

I can say that I truly love the invitation to make your portrait and the portraits of those you love. I was born to do this and can’t wait to make amazing images for you…

Dog Portraits

Oh how I love dog portraits! I have studied animal behavior with some of the best, serve as a dog portraiture expert for a national photographic organization, teach dog photography in Denver, and most importantly… adore wet noses and slobbery tennis balls! Ever since I was a kid, animals have been the answer for me. I can’t make it through the park without stopping to greet the dogs who have chosen to say hello. That simple spirit that loves us so purely… is one of the great joys in life.

Child and Family Portraits

Child and family portraits can be a serious hoot. It’s just about getting the right fit for the kids… and the occasional dad. We head to a favorite park, play games, go to the pool, jump on the beds… We wear fairy costumes and flying capes. We bake cookies and blow bubbles. Photography is a magical experience that sets you free to be just who you are. And kids are the absolute experts at doing exactly that!

Engagement Portraits

I always include engagement portraits complimentary with your wedding photography package. It’s just too much fun to go photograph you together! The photo session gives me an opportunity to get to know you better and you get to see how absolutely fabulous you look in your photographs. (And don’t we all love that?) I love to go to a place that is special to your love story or do something that you love doing together. And of course you must bring the dogs! Engagement portraits are very customized. Nothing generic here…

Undone Boudoir Portraits

Undone. You’ll notice that there are no links to view individual sessions. These are private, for pretty much one person’s eyes only… the partner who receives them as a gift. I’m always amazed at how many people and their efforts go into making this one set of photos for one guy. Everyone from the lingerie salesperson to the makeup artist, to the photographer. And one seriously beautiful woman who leaves her session knowing that she is amazing.

Boudoir photos are a fantastic gift for yourself, your groom, or your husband. After all, the traditional first anniversary gift is paper. And he’ll never forget this gift…

Rates

We live in a modern world and I want you to have your digital files to enjoy! All sessions always have your digital files included or as an option to purchase from your online gallery. It’s rare for these files to be offered by a professional photographer and I offer them for several reasons… I know you want them, I can recommend a great online lab for you where you’ll receive the best quality prints, and truly, the art is in the moments we capture.

I offer several packages. You have the option for a Traditional sitting fee, ordering all of your prints through me, or you can choose one of the Modern sessions… Custom or Mini with your digital files included. Of course, there’s also a little luxury if you like… film! Medium format film is the method of choice for fine art photographers and I looooove shooting film!

Session fees begin at $250 and are subject to my availability in Denver, London, and other locations as schedule allows. Please contact me for further details.
